Are the switches the same size as my South African switches?

Our switches are 3x3 (European size), and won’t fit in the 2x4 south African size. We do send wall boxes with the switches, with a little work they can be installed.

Are 3x3 wall boxes included?

Yes, 3x3 flush mount wall boxes are included with the switches. If you want surface mount wall boxes you can order them separately here

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, we do offer refunds if the product was delivered faulty. Refunds must be logged within 14 days of purchase.

The PIR36 is a Passive Infrared sensor (PIR sensor) that is an electronic device measuring infrared (IR) light radiating from objects in its field of view. Apparent motion is detected when an infrared source with one temperature, such as a human, passes in front of an infrared source with another temperature, such as a wall. Any object, even one exactly the same temperature as the surrounding objects will cause the PIR to activate if it moves in the field of the sensor. The PIR36 is compact with a wide detecting area, it is portable, easy to install and suitable for
indoor use only. Units can be installed on a wall horizontally or vertically or placed on a desk top. The PIR36 also functions as an annunciator.

  • Major Tech Infrared Motion Sensor is ideal for domestic applications such as cabinets, door entrances, hallways, stairways, attics and basements. Business applications include shops, offices, warehouses, storerooms, workshops, cable ways, substations and archives.
