DESCRIPTION

LED strip lights are fast becoming the most sort after type of lighting in the market today. This is primarily due to the low heat emissions, setting the direction of light, creating uniform lighting designs and maximising space utilisation. Some of their most common applications include decorative lighting, under counter / cabinet lighting, back lighting for signs, illumination of pathways and staircases, and creating effects around water features and statues. Applications only stretch as far as one’s imagination.

Lumens – Lumens measure the amount of light your LED light puts out which means the higher the lumens, the brighter the light will be.

Wattage – Wattage is a unit of measure for energy use and has nothing to do with the brightness of the LED. Now that it’s clear that wattage measures energy rather than light output, the lower the number of watts used in an LED panel light, the higher the energy saving. This means you will save more on your monthly electricity bill.
