Made in Denmark, this panel follows Scandinavian design principles by bringing natural materials and a calm, cohesive look to your space. It also helps reduce echo and improve room acoustics with Class A sound absorption. Furthermore, you can rotate the square panel to create your preferred layout.

What are the dimensions of the Akupixel panel?

Each panel measures 60 cm long, 60 cm wide and 2.2 cm deep. Therefore, one panel covers 0.36 m². The available item numbers are 2005, 2001, 2007, 2003 and 2013.

What materials make up the natural wood panel?

The slats use MDF with a real wood veneer surface. In addition, the acoustic felt contains 50% recycled plastic (PET). The veneer features natural variations in grain and colour, while the slightly rounded slat edges create a natural finish. As a result, no two panels look exactly alike.

How does the Akupixel panel improve room acoustics?

The slatted structure helps reduce echo and improve acoustics. Moreover, the panel offers Class A sound absorption while adding the warmth and character of real wood veneer to your interior.

Can I rotate the panel when installing it?

Yes, the square format allows you to rotate the panel to suit your preferred layout. First, ensure the wall surface is clean, dry and flat. Then hold the panel in position and mark the screw positions through the felt backing. Drill pilot holes and insert wall plugs if required.

Next, fasten the panel with screws through the felt backing. Alternatively, apply mounting glue evenly to the felt backing, press the panel firmly against the wall and hold it for 20–30 seconds. Use a spirit level to keep the panel straight, and allow the glue to cure fully before hanging accessories.

How should I clean and care for the natural wood veneer?

Use a dust brush or vacuum cleaner for routine cleaning. For spot cleaning, wipe the surface with a tightly wrung-out cloth. Also, note that light exposure can gradually change the veneer’s appearance. This natural patina is an expected part of the wood’s character.

What is the maximum weight capacity?

The maximum load depends on the mounting orientation. A vertically mounted 60 × 60 cm section supports up to 40 kg, while a horizontally mounted 60 × 60 cm section supports up to 5 kg. Therefore, consider the panel’s orientation when planning to hang accessories, and allow mounting glue to cure fully before doing so.
