Product Description
Aluwood | Outdoor Panel
The Aluwood Panel gives your exterior façade the warmth of real wood — without the upkeep. Each panel is made from thermo-treated Nordic pine, heated above 212°C to resist rot, fungus, and insects. The slats are bonded and screwed onto a powder-coated aluminium backing, ensuring the wood holds its shape and the façade stays straight over time.
Available in two sizes and four colour options to suit your project: Thermowood Black, Thermowood Brown, Thermowood Grey and Thermowood Oiled Brown,.

Installation & safety
-
Fix vertical or horizontal battens to your façade with a maximum spacing of 80 cm.
-
Start from one side of the wall and work across, overlapping each panel over the one below.
-
Drive self-tapping front screws through the aluminium backing into the battens — approximately 12 screws per panel.
-
Continue row by row, checking alignment with a spirit level as you go.
-
Apply a thin coat of exterior wood oil annually to maintain the natural wood slat appearance.
Designed for outdoor façade installation. Ensure battens allow adequate drainage and ventilation behind the panels. Use stainless steel fixings to prevent corrosion. The natural wood slats will silver-grey naturally if left untreated.
