Our WoddUpp Akupanel Acoustic Panel Woodlike Collection combines a wood-inspired finish with acoustic comfort. Its slatted design adds depth and creates a modern, cohesive look on walls and ceilings. Made in Denmark, this original slat wall panel offers Class A sound absorption. It also helps reduce echo and improve room acoustics. Furthermore, its easy installation makes it a practical option for interiors where you want the look of wood with a uniform finish.

What are the dimensions of the wood-look acoustic panel?

Each panel measures 240 cm long, 60 cm wide and 2.2 cm deep. Therefore, one panel covers 1.44 m² and weighs 12.5 kg. The available item numbers are 1025, 1023, 1027, 1024 and 1028.

What materials make up the Akupanel Woodlike?

The slats use MDF, while the surface features wood-look foil. In addition, the acoustic felt contains 50% recycled plastic (PET). The closed foil surface creates a more uniform finish than natural wood veneer and is easier to maintain.

Can I install the panel on walls and ceilings?

Yes, the panel suits both walls and ceilings. Before installation, ensure the wall surface is clean, dry and flat. Then hold the panel in position and mark the screw positions through the felt backing. Drill pilot holes and insert wall plugs if required.

Next, fasten each panel with 15 screws through the felt backing. Alternatively, apply mounting glue evenly to the felt backing, press the panel firmly against the surface and hold it for 20–30 seconds. Use a spirit level to keep the panel straight, and allow the glue to cure fully before hanging accessories.

How should I clean and maintain the panel?

Use a dust brush or vacuum cleaner for routine cleaning. For spot cleaning, wipe the surface with a tightly wrung-out cloth. The wood-look foil also offers a consistent surface that is easier to maintain than natural wood veneer.

What is the maximum weight capacity?

The maximum load depends on the mounting orientation. A vertically mounted 60 × 60 cm section supports up to 40 kg, while a horizontally mounted 60 × 60 cm section supports up to 5 kg. Therefore, consider the orientation when planning to hang accessories, and allow mounting glue to cure fully before doing so.
