DESCRIPTION

VETI has launched a new linear strip lighting range that overcomes many of the imperfections of traditional LED-based strip lights. The New COF (chip on flexible PCB) strip lights offer a single strip of light of up to five meters in length for the most stable, as well as flexible lighting solution for the discerning customer.

Traditional LED strip lights require the use of an aluminum profile and a diffuser to provide the illusion of a single strip of light, but often leave customers ‘seeing spots’, depending on how the lights are set up and the angle from which they are viewed. The COF Strip Lights can be installed without a profile or diffuser while providing better and consistent illumination in various situations.

The COF Strip Lights run off a 24V DC power supply and deliver highly efficient bright lighting which exceeds 800 Lumens per meter at a mere 10W/m. Built to VETI’s high quality standards, the COF Strip Lights come with a five-year guarantee. The high-quality VETI COF Strip Lights reduce the spend on maintenance over their lifespan as they will operate efficiently for years.

The VETI range includes three types of white light: Warm White (3000 Kelvin), Natural White (4000 Kelvin) and Cool White (6500 Kelvin), as well as a blue light version. The COF Strip Lights are rated IP20 for the indoor range, making them dust and moisture resistant. The outdoor range is more hardy, rated IP67 to ensure the strip lights are dust proof as well as waterproof. These lights cannot be installed underwater for a prolonged period of time, but are designed to be immune to rain, sprinklers, mist and other sources of water that can occur outdoors.

The flexibility of the COF Strip Lights means they can be wrapped around corners or other objects, and even tied into loose knots if required. The outdoor lights are slightly less flexible because the tubes incorporating the strips are sealed via silicone extrusion, ensuring nothing harmful can get to the flexible PCB.
