Materials & care

Materials:

• Shelf body: 2 mm black powder-coated steel

• Drawer: Pressed smoked cork (natural)

Surface:

• Powder coating gives the metal a strong, long-lasting finish — and it uses materials far more efficiently than wet paint

• Any extra powder is collected and reused, so almost nothing goes to waste

• You may notice a small mark where the hook held the piece during coating

• This is a natural result of the powder coating process

Maintenance

Cleaning:

• To preserve the cork's natural appearance, it is recommended to clean the surface with a soft cloth as needed

About cork's natural properties:

• Cork is a natural material with a high content of natural waxes

• During transport or changes in temperature and humidity, a slight whitish film may occasionally appear on the surface

• This is a natural characteristic of the material and does not affect the quality or function of the product

How to remove it:

• The white film can easily be removed by wiping the surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth

• If necessary, a small amount of mild soap can be used

• The cork's natural colour will then reappear
